The Fabulous Miss Gusty! One Dun Blonde 2003 Appaloosa
What a blessing Gusty has been in my life! She has given me back my confindence as a rider and taken me places I never dreamed I could go with my riding! She is so willing and smart! She is a once in a lifetime horse! (show photos courtesy of www.vicksphotos.com) Gusty received a 60 and 70% medal from the ADS this year and also helped me earn the honor of Reserve Champion Amateur Training Level this year! Gusty is my primary riding horse at this time. She is the gentlest, most bombproof horse I have ever ridden. She has had professional training with Brad Williams of William's Performance Horses in Ada, OK. Her breeding includes The Ole Man (QH) and Dreamfinder 2x (ApHC).Gusty has had 90 days of harness training with Beth Lowrey at B Bar B Ranch Performance Horses. My friend Miranda owns her 1/2 sister and they have been Appy Reserve National Champions twice in show jumping. She is a delight to ride and will willingly go from dressage to trails to tracking steers at roping practice. What more could you ask for? At our very first rated Dressage Show appearance in the ADS Country Classic I and II we won 2nd in every class! With scores in the 60's. She earned 8 ACAAP Points at the show! I'm so proud of my girl! She placed in the ACAAP Top Five in Dressage and has earned her Certificate of Achievement in 2008! She is the BEST!
Gusty is doing great in Driving. ANWARC 2009 Champion in Pleasure Driving. Here we are driving at the 3F Fall Fiesta!
Here we are in Trail and WTC Open Hunter Under Saddle at Longbranch Stables Ghost and Goblin Show Arkansas Community Show Nov 07, we earned Highpoint Open Breed Horse! Check out Showing Off for more Pics! Ok, yes I'm riding English in Western Attire. It was cold and I was working the show!
